VolleySLIDE - Getting Started
As Sitting Volleyball continues to grow around the world, individuals, clubs and countries are continually looking for guidance over how to get started. This section of VolleySLIDE has been produced to work through the different things that anyone looking to facilitate sitting volleyball needs to consider. The information laid out here is only designed to raise the important topics and present one possible path for someone who is looking to start Sitting Volleyball.
The majority of this guidance is based on the steps that were taken within Great Britain prior to the London 2012 Paralympic Games, to establish and prepare their national teams, as well as to maximise the legacy of the Games from ‘playground through to podium’.
